12U Tier 2

We are a group of hard working, fun loving, hockey players. We believe that we are capable of greatness and will put in the work to make it happen. We work on self development for the benefit of the team. We believe we are blessed to play the greatest sport on earth and will give 110% every time we hit the ice. We are GRIZZLIES!

Ages

Appropriate players at least 9 years old who have completed at least one year of full ice T2 hockey.

When

Spring Season begins with tryouts in March and runs until the end of May.

Summer Training occurs semi regularly June and July

Fall Season tryouts are mid May with the the regular season running mid August through playoffs in March.

Where

Practices and home games are held at Buffalo Wild Wings Arena. Games may be played across the metro region.

Practices

Teams practice 2-3 times per week.

We use Precision Hockey Training at Big Boy Arena for skills and dryland training.

We use HKY House in Waterford for small area game and skills training as well as shooting skills.

Games

We play in both the Michigan Girls Hockey League and Little Caesars Armature Hockey League. Teams will play 45-55 games over the course of the season.

Jerseys

Club jerseys are required and we will have a team fitting day to put that order together.

Extra Costs

The Oakland Jr. Grizzlies collect an organizational fee that covers game jerseys, practice jerseys, gloves, and the use of shells and a bag.

All other fees will be explained in the team budget and collected monthly.
